Wanawake na Watoto — Integrated technology infrastructure for a facility serving women and children.

The project

Extrion brought together connectivity, security, safety and communication systems to support a facility where dependable technology is important to staff, patients and visitors.

The challenge

Integrated technology infrastructure for a facility serving women and children. Environments like this depend on connectivity, security, safety and communication systems that work together reliably — every day, without interruption.

Our approach

We coordinated multiple technology systems within one facility: designing the infrastructure as an integrated environment, implementing each system, testing it and handing it over with documentation and support.

Extrion scope

  • LAN and network infrastructure
  • Fibre connectivity
  • CCTV/security systems
  • Fire systems
  • Public Address
  • Nurse Call / communication systems

Systems delivered

What was installed — and why it matters

LAN & Networking

A structured local network of switches, cabling and data points that connects every computer, phone, camera and system in the building — designed with room to grow and documented for future maintenance.

Fibre Optics

Fibre-optic backbone links between buildings, floors and server rooms. Fibre carries far more data over longer distances than copper and is immune to electrical interference, so connections stay fast and stable.

CCTV & Surveillance

IP cameras covering entrances, corridors, stores and perimeters, recorded centrally with remote viewing for authorised staff. Footage helps deter incidents and supports investigations when something happens.

Security Systems

Physical security systems — alarms, intercoms and monitoring — configured to work together so the facility is protected around the clock and staff are alerted quickly.

Fire Systems

Fire detection and alarm infrastructure — detectors, call points, sounders and control panels — installed to give early warning and support safe evacuation.

Public Address

Zoned public address for announcements, paging and emergency messages, so the right message reaches the right area clearly.

Nurse Call

Bed-head and bathroom call points linked to ward displays and nurse stations, so patients can call for help and staff can respond to the right room quickly.
