Networking questions
Why is our Wi-Fi slow even with a fast internet connection?
Common causes are too few or badly placed access points, thick stone or concrete walls, interference, consumer routers overloaded by users, and one network shared by guests, staff and cameras. A survey shows which applies to your building.
Cat6 or fibre?
Cat6 copper suits runs of up to 100 metres inside a building. Fibre is used for longer distances, between floors in large buildings and between separate buildings, where it also protects equipment from lightning surges.
Can you work in a building that is already occupied?
Yes. We plan cabling routes and working hours to keep disruption low, and use trunking where cables cannot be hidden in walls.
Do you support networks after installation?
Yes. We offer maintenance and support, from on-call help to managed IT plans with monitoring.
